The main ballroom for the nightly dances is huge!
A squadron of helicopters could land there!
So much room was almost overwhelming, but for once, one did not have to look over their shoulder while dancing.

The mood is anticipation, as people seemed to hang back a bit - a sense of something really big is going to happen. But, DJs Victor & Nilson started to play some good tunes and the floor began to fill.

A number of people are still in transit and are still coming in from all over Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and one woman from Israel. Yes, they dance salsa in Israel - apparently the scene is very strong there - hopefully more to come on that angle.

If a guy is looking for a dance partner, this is the place as there are about a third more women than men. All nicely dressed and waiting to dance.

People are also dancing on the carpet beside the dance floor as other people stand as spectators around the floor - especially the corners. The spectators are watching some of the workshop presenters dance.

One can dance for only so long before the intensity becomes too great. So,watching some of the really good dancers is almost as good as actually dancing. And, one can pick up a few things simply by watching.

The UK's Super Mario was dancing with any and all comers. A number of people were gathered at the edge of the dance floor, watching him move. Well over six feet tall and very broad, this bigger than life man with the million moves is showing a few with the grace of a cat. Super Mario proudly states that he does not do shows nor does he compete. He social dances and he loves to teach others social dancing.

People are already talking about Saturday's workshops - which one are you going to? I'm going to this one!
