Oscar on a fashion runway? Mark-Anthony on a runway? Paula & Jose struttin it up?! Java too? Oh yes, it happened.
Maya Belle surprised Toronto's salsa community Saturday with a salsa party wrapped around a fashion show 7 March at Dovercourt - and a sexy sultry opener to the runway.
Instructors and dancers from some of Toronto's well established salsa schools modelled and strutted their stuff as they showcased Maya Belle's S09 "Mambo Vintage" line of salsa and leisurewear.
iFreeStyle.ca's Angus & Caryl surprised them as Caryl did a flip and a tumble. Angus even did a little break dancing, demonstrating how well Mambo Vintage stands up to even the most challenging dancing conditions.
TorontoDanceSalsa.ca's student group performed and Java continued struttin' with a solo performance.
Mambo Vintage will be at the 2009 Winter Salsa Carnival and will be coming to a social near you soon!
