GoDanceMambo's 2012 Toronto Bachata Festival Competition Professional Semi Finals took place Sunday 20 November at Dovercourt.
Six pairs put it out there. And the competition was close, with 1.5 points separating two of the four pairs.
When the dust settled and the scores were tallied, the following pairs will compete in the 2010 toronto Bachata Festival Competition. They are: Elton & Maureen; Chantal & Junyan; Angelo & Kathy; Alex & Jayna.
Judges for the professional semi-finals included CityDance Corps' Tina and Estelle; iFreeStyle's Caryl, Latin Groove Producgtions' Oscar and United Salseros' Teddy.

Apologies to competitor pairs two to six for the quality of their competition routine imagery. After the first competitor's routine, one of the judges ordered us not to take flash photography, although there was no restriction by the event promoter regarding flash photography. That judge did not order the photographer standing directly behind them to stop flash photography. We were the only flash photographers in the venue given that order. Sorry gang.
