The Phoenix was one big house party Friday 23 October with Pupy Y Los Son Son & Candido Fabre setting the tone!
Two long sets kept them dancing and singing along to almost every song.
Afro Latin Dance Company's dancers opened the evening with Casino Rueda and a playful modern dance piece. A yellow clad Orisha appeared almost as an omen to the evening, bringing the good spirits out.
In between sets, World Beat Hip Hop dancers from Germany kept them entertained.
During the second set, more dancers joined Pupy's band on stage.
Candido Fabre also performed.
Always stay for the second set. That's when the band relaxes and the real fun begins. Cafe Cubano's Yanek joined the band for a long montuno. Local rapera Telmary Diaz finised the evening.
