6 Degrees of Salsa Competition rolled right along Tuesday night as some professional couples dipped their toes into that $6000 pond.
Java & Patience, both who are Solo competitors in the upcoming Toronto Salsa Festival partnered for Tuesday's second round of heats and advanced to the Semi-Final Round.
Eddie & Jena also competed.
In a surprising appearance, Dance to Live's Steve and Enamorarse Salsa's Tanya paired for the competition. All three professional couples advance to the semi-final round.
Amateur couples vying for a chance at that trip included: Leon & Luda; Edgar & Katerina; Kevin & Dalia; and Stephanie and partner. Leon & Luda; Kevin & Dalia; and Stephanie and partner advance to the semi-final round.
Steps Dance Studio is co-ordinating the competition details and United Salseros' Teddy and Dance to Live Paula had the unenviable task of judging all of these competitors.
It isn't too late to sign up.
Two more rounds of preliminaries take place Tuesday 2, 9 March.
