Toronto's longest 100% running salsa practice or social celebrated 11 years Saturday 21 January 2012. As salsa events around Toronto have added Bachata, Zouk, Latin Hustle, House, even Top 40 and club anthems 'mixes,' Toronto Salsa practice continues offering strickly salsa week after week. And the dancers of all levels keep coming week after week.
Jim Groneau, who only wanted a place to practice dancing started Toronto Salsa Practice at Trinity-Saint Paul Church.
And the practice never stopped. Jim, a man of very few words, thanked the crowd in his customary one minute announcement for making the practice what it was and is, a place to come out and practice salsa. Then it was back to
dancing to 100% salsa.
What hasn't changed is the nice floor, the hight ceilings, the music and the fun people of all ages and abilities have dancing to it.
