The Courthouse rocked Friday night to DJ Divsa's House, Anthem and Bollywood tunes at the That Girl in Yellow Boots TIFF Gala.
The story, starring Kalki Koechlin - born to French parents in India - revolves around the gritty labours of Ruth, white-skinned foreign girl in Mumbai, searching for her Bengali father, a photographer.
Independent filmmaker, Producer, screenplay writer and Director Anurag Kashyap was clearly pushing the boundaries of Indian cinema when he said, "Kabhi-kabhi audience ko jhatka lagna zaruri hai, tabhi bade honge. We need more films like That Girl in Yellow Boots to shock people...they will react angrily...there will arguments and counter-arguments and ultimately (get) some maturity."
Principal Cast includes Kalki Koechlin, Prashant Prakash, Gulshan Devaiah, Naseeruddin Shah. Producer is Anurag Kashyap. Executive Producer is Guneet Monga. Cinematographer is Rajeev Ravi.
