Mambo Tribe had an excellent time participating in their 3rd year of the Chicago Salsa Congress. The entire troupe represented Toronto; including Anthony, Trionne, Young, Magna, Okello, Joanne, Mark-Anthony & Stephanie. Mambo Tribe was a featured group and performed two numbers, including an original cha cha and a debut performance of their Venetian Ball choreography.

They were pleased to hear wonderful comments about the new routine as well as their two workshops: turn patterns on 1 for intermediate salsa dancers, and men's and ladies' shines with core styling.

The concerts were fabulous! Friday night salsa dancers were graced with the presence of Andy Montanez (ex-El Gran Combo lead singer), Sonero del Barrio on Saturday and Mr. Eddie Palmieri himself on Sunday night.

In total, close to 400 people attended and 80 groups were present from all over the United States, Canada, Korea, Italy and Puerto Rico.
