From looking for a place just to practice salsa, to a Toronto institution, Toronto Salsa Practice has come a long way in six years.
Dancers from Toronto, Dancerrs from out of town, they come, all ages, all levels. Just to dance.
Celebrating his 6th year, the ever retiscent Jim Groneau did take a moment to thank everyone for coming out to support the Saturday afternoon 'Salsa Practices.' He then invited all to have some birtyday cake and the music started rolling again. Years of photo galleries were pasted to the walls for people to look and find themselves.
The 6th Anniversary TSP buttons passed around were a stroke of genius. Not only do people wear them to spot other TSP dancers, but the buttons are a coupon to selected TSP monthly outings at some of Toronto's best salsa clubs.
No fuss, no muss. Just salsa, and lots of it!
Anyone just learning to dance salsa will find TSP to be a most friendly and supportive place to practice your steps without the club atmosphere.
Advanced dancers will find TSP to be a place to work out moves to both slow and fast music too!
