Steps Christmas

It was a full house Sunday evening as people converged on Steps Dance Studio to celebrate the Christmas season. DJ Alberth kept them moving throughout the evening. Light snacks and beverages kept the energy level up. And some of Jennifer's performance troupes and the staff put on demonstrations ranging from Casino Rueda to Samba to an ensemble urban cha cha routine.

A few lucky people walked away with full passes to the Miami Salsa and Hustle Congress, travel vouchers courtesy of Moreno Travel's Denise Hernandez, and 2009 Canada Salsa Congress DVDs.

The big news of the evening is Jennifer Aucoin's involvement with the 2010 Six Degrees Salsa Competition, a reach back to the legendary 1990s Berlin Salsa Competitions. Classes include Solo, so dust off that old soft shoe, Amateur, Professional and possibly Pro Am. Dates and rules are cominng soon.
